With Apologies to Rogers & Hammerstein
Bright coloured shawlettes and warm woollen mittens,
Squishy yarn parcels all tied up with string,
These are a few of my inspiring things.
Nice chocolate biscuits and hot mugs of tea,
Radio Seven and pretty things to see,
These are a few of my inspiring things.
Watching my loved ones knitting or sewing
These are a few of my inspiring things

When the yarn's tight,
When needles sting,
When it makes me mad,
I simply remember these inspiring things
And then I don't feel so bad.
I love the sound of music. My grandparents had this tea party ball thing when I was little and they had us learn the goodnight song the kids sing at the party so we could sing it at their party...not fun, I can't sing.

ReplyDeleteI've been waiting all day to see what you'd do, I knew that whatever it was it'd be good.
And because that wasn't quite enough love, I love that you really touched on all your favourite things! And no apologies required - you dun good girl.
